MOSOP-ST. LOUIS HOST THE 24TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION OF OGONI 9
MOSOP-USA 2019 CONFERENCE IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
MOSOP-USA, St. Louis Chapter met in an emergency general meeting on September 15, 2019 and unanimously resolved to host the 24th Anniversary Commemoration of November 10, 1995 in St. Louis, Missouri. The Congress of MOSOP-USA, St. Louis Chapter also on the same day set-up a Planning and Organizing Committee to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Conference.
Members of the committee have met and continue to meet to properly plan the event. The following information have been approved by the Executive Board of MOSOP-USA, St. Louis Chapter and are therefore authorized to be publicized. METHOD OF RESERVATIONS:
Reservation will be made by individuals calling the Reservations line directly at 314-892-3600 and requesting “inhouse reservations”. Individuals must identify themselves as being with the group (MOSOP) at the time the reservation is made in order to receive the special group rate.
CUT OFF DATE:All guestroom accommodations will be held until 10/18/2019 12:00 am CST. On that date, all unreserved rooms will be released for sale to the general public. Any reservation requests received after the “Cutoff Date,” including modifications, name changes and additions for the group will be accepted on a space and rate available basis. Release of rooms for general sale following the “Cutoff Date” does not affect MOSOP’s obligation as discussed in this agreement to utilize guestrooms.
SHUTTLE SERVICE
: In regards to our shuttle service, we will post a shuttle schedule in the lobby with drop off and pick up times for your event if there are 5 or more rooms reserved within your block. If there are less than 5 rooms, we will still offer your guests complimentary shuttle service but on a “first come, first serve” basis.CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 3:00P.M CST. The Hotel will make every reasonable effort to accommodate guests who arrive before the check-in time, but, guestrooms may not be immediately available. Baggage storage will be available.Check-out time is 11:00 am CST. Late check-out requests will be reviewed based on hotel demand. A late departure fee of one night’s room rate per room may apply.
PARKING: Free parking is available all around the Hotel to overnight guests. The hotel reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for parking or deny availability due to overcapacity.ROOM RATES The following room rate will apply for standard rooms: ROOM TYPE RATE Double Bed: $99.00
King Room with Sofa Sleeper $99.00
TAX EXEMPT STATUS If MOSOP maintains a tax exempt status, MOSOP must provide hotel with a valid tax exemption certificate thirty (30) days prior to the Group arrival date, in order to be exempt from tax charges. The hotel does not guarantee Tax Exempt status for those who are out of state organizations.
NOTE from Planning Committee: We need to book at least 5 rooms to have free shuttle to and fro the event center. The Hotel is only 2.6 miles drive from the conference center. The hotel is really nice and we strongly recommend that conferees choose this hotel. The block booking is for 8, 9 and 10th of November.
